Figure drawings are perfect for those who just want a quick idea for a character, or an idea for their own creative works.
The section can count as building the foundational artwork of your character for your website, advertisement or for any other purposes of your desire. In other words, if you can’t draw, just let me know and I’ll draw it for you. All original digital sketches will be produced with Adobe Photoshop. If you need the artwork in vector format, just ask. Theatricals (Subject matter) Pencil Sketch: +$50
Digital Sketch (no-color): +$50

Digital paintings start from one single figure with a blank (gray) background. The two colored painting means the painting will come in black and white with a gray background (this will give the sketch a more three dimensional sense). If you need a background to go with the character/mascot, ask for the additional background options.

Upon request of a commission, please inform the style/theme of requested artwork. It would be in your best interest if there were images or photos that have similar art styles or feelings. Also, it would make a significant impact if I know the purpose of the artwork (personal or corporate).

From the moment of the purchase, the creative rights and responsibility for distribution will completely reside to the owner of the artwork. Confidential contracts are also available (No extra charge+Postal).

Alison Scarpulla

I just learned about this magnificent photographer Alison Scrapulla.

I cant find much information of her on the internet (which could be sad and good at the same time if you know what I mean!)
but the colors and her tones she uses really remind me of old 70's picture books, which I get most of my inspiration from.

I also found her flicker account which is posted below.
If you got the time take a look at it, and I promise you you wont be disappointed...

Im definitely falling in love with the works of Joao Ruas.

JAO RUAS -FERAL KID SITE Vectro Ave.
His atmosphere is sort of similar to Tom Haubrick but has a much more organic, and warm feeling compared to Toms stuff. Found his work in here

I just watched this inspirational and very motivating video today.
I thought I should share it.
If you are one of those who hope to make it to the big screen someday, immerse you thought to the words of Bobby Chiu
I was particularly moved about his view of how wins the game and how.

このビデオに字幕が無いのが残念で仕方ないです。
最近Youtubeで絵画のチュートリアルが沢山アップロードされている事を発見してから色々なビデオを見てるのですが
このBobby Chiuのビデオには本当に勇気づけられましたw

簡単にこのBobby Chiuって人を紹介すると、
これまでにディズニー、ワーナーブラザース、ドリームワークス、ソニーなどの映画会社との仕事を手掛け、
最近の仕事ではティム•バートンのアリス•イン•ワンダーランドのクリーチャーデザインを担当した人。

ビデオの内容は至ってシンプルなんだけど、要は
「成功するひと、しない人の違いは自分の夢を追い続けるか、途中で諦めるかの違いだけだ。」
ってこと。
Bobby曰く、
「だれでも成功は出来るんだ。ただ大抵の人は途中で自分の夢を追いかけることを忘れてしまうとくじけてしまう。
自分の夢は具体的にイメージしなくちゃいけない。たとえば、この先あなたがどこでどんな仕事をしているのかを。
僕がまだ駆け出しの頃は自分が手掛けたクリーチャーが登場する映画のエンドクレジットに僕の名前が映し出されて、観客が僕に拍手喝采を浴びせている様をよく想像した。あれを毎日夢見たから今の自分があるんだ。」


想像力って偉大。。。。

海外のアングラでは結構有名になって来てたカレ。
チョット前までは本当に無名だったのが、
今ではサイトに「パンズ•ラビリンス」や「ヘルボーイ」シリーズを手掛けるギレルモ・デル・トロ監督から推薦文書かれちゃってるし。。。
いいなぁ、、、、、（ため息）

とにかくこの人の彫刻（？）造形物（？）をみてください！
